OUTREACH SERVICES

As part of our commitment to promote early literacy, the Childrens Library offers Outreach Services to public schools, child care centers and preschools in South Windsor.

Arrangements can be made for library staff to visit classrooms on a regular basis or for a special event.  Requests for Storytime on the Road can be based on a special theme which would include stories, a song or fingerplay, and a simple craft.

Institution cards can be issued to allow agencies to borrow printed material for an extended period of time.  A list of authorized users is kept on file at the library.

Picture books, magazines, teacher resources, and non-fiction material can be collected by the library staff and be ready to be picked up or delivered to you.  Please allow at least 2 weeks advanced notice.

Groups are welcome to book a tour of the library.  See what goes on behind the scenes.  Learn more about resources available both at the library and online at our website.  You'll discover treasures!

To arrange for Outreach Services, call 644-5404 or email jromano@libraryconnection.info.
