ANNUAL BOOK SALE 3 DAYS THIS YEAR
The dates for this summer's annual book sale are Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, July 4,5, and 6, from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. each day. Donations of good clean hardcovers or paperbacks will be acccepted anytime the library is open, but please no textbooks or encyclopedias. All books priced $1.00 or less. To volunteer to help set up and take down the books and tables, or for more information, please call the library at 476-8895.

                Based on a 1950's true story that changed Irish  law,  Pierce Brosnan stars as a down-on-his luck father fighting the church and the courts for custody of his beloved children.
 
May 21  The Wind That Shakes the Barley (NR) 127 min.
               Ken Loach's award winning film about the violent struggle of 2 brothers in the early days (1920's) of the Irish Republican Army's fight against the British.
 
May 28    The Snapper (R) 95 min.
                 Colm Meaney shines as the father of a daughter whose unexpected pregnancy shakes up their entire neighborhood in this amusing Roddy Doyle comedy.
