Yes, it’s snowy now, but the golf season is just around the corner, and caddying is a great way to make a few bucks! We welcome back instructor Larry Regan, who has caddied for decades at Butler National Golf Club, Medinah, and La Grange Country Club. Two 2-hour classes will illustrate the rules, etiquette, and strategies of golf for prospective country club caddying. Registration for both classes is required.
Parents, please note: This program will be offered again for high school and college students on Tuesday, March 23 and Thursday, March 25 at the same times.
READ IT/ REVIEW IT
Read a good book/ seen a great movie/ heard some fantastic music lately? Share your thoughts with the world through a short (2 - minute) video review. We'll shoot you reviewing your book or whatever and post it to the Library's channel on YouTube. You can embed your review in your MySpace or Facebook page, too. Contact Noël for details at 352-0576.
Have a show, but need a mid-sized, local performance space? The Library is looking for teen actors, musicians, poets, and other performers to perform for the public in the Dierkes Community Room, which seats about 100. Perfect venue for acoustic musical performance, chamber strings, vocal groups, poetry readings, and minimalist theater. If you would like your group to be considered, call Noël or email her at zethmayrn@lagrangelibrary.org.
