Tyler's Time |
We have launched a series of programs called Tyler's Time. The library hosts a variety of programs: for Preschool- aged, for Grades K through 2 and for Grades 3through 6.
The upcoming programs for Tyler's Time is:
BUILDING WITH FRANK LLOYD WRIGHT presented by the
FRANK LLOYD WRIGHT PRESERVATION TRUST
Children in Grades 3-6
October 16, 1:00-2:00 p.m.
LEGO fans will love this program! During the workshop, families build, design, solve problems and learn to think critically using classic geometric puzzle pieces called pentominos. The children's novel, The Wright 3 by Blue Balliett used three-dimensional pentominos as the inspiration in solving a mystery. After building with pentominos, enjoy The Wright 3 interactive virtual tour of Wright's Robie House, the setting for the popular book.

FUN FOR LITTLE ONES presented by JIM WALSER

Live animals, stories, songs and games provide fun and excitement for the preschoolers! Enjoy such classics as There Was an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Fly, Going on a Bear Hunt, I'm Being Swallowed by a Boa Constrictor, and more. This program is paid for through the generous donations to Tyler's Time.
