Loan Policy
Loan Period
Most items are loaned for 3 weeks. DVDs, video games, periodicals, and most new adult fiction titles are loaned for 7 days.
Renewals
Items loaned for 3 weeks are eligible for one 3 week renewal unless there is a waiting list for the item. Materials no more than 1 week overdue may be renewed by phone. Overdue charges will be added to the cardholder’s record. Fines are $ .10 per day, except for DVD's and Video games which are $1.00 per day. 7 -day items are not renewable. You may also renew online before the due date at http://swan.mls.lib.il.us/patroninfo/.

Vacation Loan
Any item eligible for renewal may be given a 6 week vacation loan at the time of initial checkout.

Materials may be reserved by LaGrange cardholders; you are notified when your item is available for pick up.
Interlibrary Loan
Items not included in our collection can be sent from other libraries. You are notified when your item arrives.
