4H BABYSITTING COURSE at the Bourne Public Library
March 20 and March 27 from 9:00am - 1:00 pm
Learn to become a responsible babysitter.
Sessions include: child safety, first aid emergencies, feeding,
stages of child development, discipline, entertaining,
....and the business of babysitting.
Pre-registration is required. Call the Children's Desk at 508-759-0644 X106 for more information.
The class is currently full - call to be placed on the waiting list - we only need a few more students to run a second section!
Participants must be 11 years old or older and seriously interested in babysitting. The course is instructed by a 4-H Program Teacher. A $25.00 fee covers snacks and the 4-H Babysitting Manual. Certificates and I.D. cards are issued upon successful completion of the 2 session course.

Saturday, March 6th, 10 am
This book club will meet on the first Saturday of each month and is appropriate for 3rd - 6th grade students, accompanied by an adult reading buddy (parent, grandparent, etc.). Our next selection will be Shiloh by Phyllis Reynolds Naylor Questions? Call the Children's Room at 508-759-0644 X106.
Winter 2010 Story Hour & Play Groups
Groups will begin January 12th
Registration is now in progress for our winter session. Click here to print a registration form. Groups will be chosen by lottery and families will be notified during the week of January 4th. See our Calendar of Events for more information. Please remember there are no children's groups at the library if Bourne Schools are closed due to snow.

BOOK CLUBS for KIDS
Book Clubs for kids!1st - 3rd graders group, the Dragon Readers Book Club will meet on the first Wednesday of the month, 4-4:45pm. Our next meeting will be April 7th.Participants may read any book of their choice.
The Lightening Readers Book Club for 4th - 6th graders will meet from 4-5pm on the 2nd Wednesday of each month. Our next meeting will be on April 14th. Next selection is The Lightning Thief by Rick Riordan.
Annual Egg Hunt and Bake Sale
