Welcome to our Virtual Library Services!

From this page you can go to our catalog for holdings, log in to your library account, use our Reader's Advisory service or read E-books.  You can also research for magazine articles using our online databases.

To use the Library services elecetronically, you must have a Library card.

Library cards are issued free of charge. Just stop by the Library and get your free library card.  A $5.00 fee is charged for a replacement card.

For your convenienece, you may want to fill out the registration form ahead of time and bring it with you when you come to the Library. Please bring a vaild ID to receive your card. 

In order to use the services, you must create your own PIN (personal identification number) for your Library account. Your PIN must be at least 8 characters using numbers, letters or a combination of both. See details on how to create a PIN.

Call the circulation desk (508-497-9777) if you don't rememember your PIN. It must to be deleted by a member of our staff before you can create a new one.

NOVELIST
If you don't have an author or title in mind, use this search and describe the kind of book you want to read. This search matches the words you enter to over 36,000 different subject headings, reviews and descriptions. Enter words that describe the genre, character(s), time periods, events or setting you want to read about. Novelist will produce a list of books to choose from.

E-Books (NET LIBRARY)
Collection of electronic books (eBooks) consisting of 38,000 titles. You may browse books online for 15 minutes. You need to create an account when you access the service the first time.

DATABASES 
Searches full-text articles from hundreds of magazines, encyclopedias and other resources online.

Computers

There are 3 computers for public access to use the Internet and 1 computer for word processing. You must sign up to use a computer and there is one hour limit if others are waiting to use a computer.

Children under 12 years of age must be with an adult to use a computer.

Personal floppy discs, memory sticks or CDs are not allowed.  For word processing projects only, the Library will sell the patron a floppy disc.

PRINTING
For students of any age, the first five pages of printing are free.  After the first five pages, the Library will charge 10 cents per page.
