How to create a PIN
Go to "My Account" from the top menu bar. A dialog box will open.
Type in your Library card number. Select the "submit" option if you do not have a PIN and proceed to set up your account.
Restrictions/Limitations
1. Do not repeat the same character 3 or more times (AAA, AAA……)
2. Do not repeat a set of 2, 3 or 4 characters that is used 2 or more
times (ABAB, ABCABC, ABCD)
3. “Your PIN is not complex enough to be secure” message means that the
patron tried to create a PIN with restrictions (see # 1 and 2). Also called
“TRIVIAL” PINs.
4. Instead of INVALID PIN (error message), the system will say “Sorry, the
information you submitted was invalid. Please try again)
5. The system will block the user and return an error message if there are
more than 5 attempts to log on with the same barcode for a period of
one minute.
