Children’s Services Assistant
Work in a team sharing the duties required to provide full information service and programming to children and their caregivers.  Must be familiar with children’s literature and homework support resources; be able to plan and deliver engaging programs that both support childhood development and foster a love of reading; and be comfortable with the technologies necessary to help patrons navigate the library environment. 

Bachelors Degree or degree in progress with coursework in child development required.  Minimum work experience: 1 year working with children.  Prior library work experience and the ability to write and speak fluently in both Spanish and English strongly preferred.

20 hours per week
$14.36 per hour to start

Account Services Clerk
Primary duties include greeting patrons, providing frontline customer service to assist them with navigating the library’s new self-serve environment, and maintaining patron accounts.  Excellent customer service skills required.  Bilingual Spanish skills preferred.

20 hours per week
$12.59 per hour to start

Shelver

Primary duties include shelving books and other materials, maintaining correct order and tidiness in the collections, emptying sorter bins, collecting materials from the on-site book drop, and shifting materials as required.

12 hours per week
$8.50 per hour to start
