Teen Writer's Group
3rd Mon. of the month
(8/23 (one week later), & 9/20) @ 7 p.m.
Teen writer's group is designed to let you share your
work in a supportive environment. You can give and receive constructive advice about your writing while talking to others who share your interests. We will meet once a month for an hour and a half, and snacks will be provided. Bring a piece you are working on to each meeting. New members are always welcome!!!
Interpersonal Relations: Aug. 19
In elementary school there are about 75 kids in your grade. In middle school, that jumps to 225!
How do you make new friends? How can you tell who to trust? What do you do about members of the opposite sex who are all of a sudden interested in you (and you’re interested in them!)? Our panel of middle school and high school students will share their experiences and talk about how you can make friendships flourish in this strange new world.
