Rosemary Sazonoff Writing Contest -
February 1 - February 29

The Deerfield Library’s 16th Annual Creative Writing Contest welcomes stories, poems, or essays about friendship. The contest honors the memory of Library trustee, community activist, and journalist Rosemary Sazonoff. Young writers in grades 2-8 are encouraged to participate.
Children may submit short, unpublished pieces of creative writing on the theme “What are Friends For?” This theme includes any story from a family or friend, a story from your own life, fiction, etc. We will celebrate all participants at a reception at the Library on Saturday, March 10, 2012 where the winners in each category will be announced, receive their prizes and have a chance to read their entries.
Entry forms are available here.
